In the beginning God created. We all know the words as coming from Genesis 1:1. God spoke into existence the everything we see, feel, touch, smell, and hear. He created each of us. And it recently broke my heart to hear someone who was hurting to say why would God sacrifice Jesus for me. “What made me worth it. Why does God love us so much.” My reply was that he created you.
Today’s message is going to be a short one. As we approach Easter, I want each of you to know that God does love you. He loves you as you are. Even in our sin, God loves us. He loves us not because of what we have or will ever do. He loves us unconditionally because of what Christ has done.

God created us for a reason and purpose, and that it to help accomplish HIS will on the earth. He created us to share the love and message of Christ. He created us to change the world.

The Bible tells us In Genesis 1:27,

So God created mankind in his own image,

    in the image of God he created them;

    male and female he created them.

We were created by a loving, merciful, and gracious God. We are not deserving of it. But because God loves his children we are worthy of it because he poured out his wrath and anger on His son Jesus Christ.

So today, let us not lose sight of that sight. Jesus was our sacrifice. His blood, his life, his death in exchange for ours.

I just want to thank each of you for viewing the site. In just under three weeks we have had over 200 views. I am thankful and humbled by your participation.
